From the OSCE’s iRecruitment homepage (https://employment.osce.org/OA_HTML/IrcVisitor.jsp) click on the button “Register today“. You will then be requested to provide a valid e-mail address, Family Name, First Name (please only use English characters for the name fields) and password. Please check that your e-mail address is correct before clicking the “Submit” button.

Do I have to register every time I wish to apply for a vacancy?
No, please only register once to OSCE’s iRecruitment. When you return to OSCE iRecruitment you will only need to login with your e-mail address and password. Should you not remember your e-mail address, please use the Contact Support link provided. Should you have forgotten your password, please use the “Reset Password” button on the homepage.
I did not receive a confirmation e-mail of my registration
Unfortunately it is not possible at this time to send out confirmations for each registration that takes place in OSCE’s iRecruitment web-site.
I cannot login to OSCE iRecruitment
Please check to ensure your e-mail address that you registered with is spelt correctly and that the password is also correct. Should you not remember your e-mail address, please use the Contact Support link provided. Should you have forgotten your password, please use the “Reset Password” button on the homepage. Please also check your internet options to ensure that all required settings are there as described in the links found on the OSCE iRecruitment homepage.
How can I change my login e-mail / password?
Once you are logged into OSCE iRecruitment, you can change your login e-mail address in “My Profile” under Personal Information in the E-mail field (current employees of the OSCE cannot do this). To change your password, navigate to “My Profile”, tab “Login Information” and follow the instructions.
If you have forgotten your password, please use the “Reset Password” button on the homepage where you will need to provide your login e-mail address and a new password will be sent there.
Why can’t I see OSCE Seconded Vacancies in OSCE iRecruitment vacancy search?
OSCE Seconded vacancies are shown outside of iRecruitment due to the differnet application methods for the OSCE participating States. If you are interested in seconded positions please ensure you visit the OSCE seconded page where all information, requirements and vacancies can be found. As the recruitment process differs amongst OSCE participating States which is dependent on your nationality, online applications might not be possible. Are vacancies open to all applicants?
To apply for any of the positions you must be a national of one of the 57 participating States. Further information on the participating States can be found under here .
If you are registering with OSCE iRecruitment for the first time, you will be taken to the “My Profile” screen after clicking the “Create Resume” button. Should you be a returning user, once logged in, click the “My Profile” tab.
Do I have to complete My Profile at one time?
No, upon registering you will only need to complete the first page “Personal Information” and click the Save button and can then log off. Upon returning to OSCE’s iRecruitment you can continue where you left off by clicking the “My Profile” tab once you are logged in.
Do I have to complete all fields?
Many of the fields are marked as mandatory, as well as certain sections of the form. When saving your profile, a note will appear informing you which details are still needed to be completed before allowing you to be able to apply to a vacancy.
Is there a guideline to My Profile?
Yes, the Guideline can be found on the homepage once logged in under the section “Useful Links” č OSCE iRecruitment Help, or alternatively there are links below the header of each section which will guide you through that section e.g. Basic Details guideline.
Do I have to enter my Education Qualifications and Previous Employment records in reverse chronological order?
No, you can enter the records any order you wish to, as the system will sort the records in reverse chronological order once you log back into OSCE’s iRecruitment and the online resume will sort them as well.
What end date do I enter in Previous Employment for my current employment record?
Either enter your contract end date or leave the To: date blank.
How can I create/refresh and view/print my online resume?
Once your “My Profile” is complete, you can create an online resume showing all information stored in “My Profile” in the OSCE’s application form format which is then saved to your documents and can either be previewed and then printed or saved to disk which can then be opened in a internet browser window and be printed.
To do this, navigate to “My Profile”, tab “Print Profile” and click the button "Create / refresh printable profile". The system will then load a System Generated Resume into the documents table. To preview the System Generated Resume, click the preview icon next to the document.You can then choose to print the preview of the application form. You can also click on the name of the html document and open the file in a browser window and print it from there.
Should you make any changes again to your “My Profile”, you can refresh the System Generated Resume at any time by using the "Create / refresh printable profile" button, but remember to save before doing so.
I receive the error “Error: Cannot Display Page”, what does this mean?
This error is caused by no activity in the internet window for more than 20 minutes, which causes the system to time-out automatically. Please ensure to save your account at least every 20 minutes to keep the session active. Unsaved data could be lost if this is not done.
In order to apply online for a vacancy, you should be registered with OSCE’s iRecruitment. You can do this by going to the OSCE’s iRecruitment homepage (https://employment.osce.org/OA_HTML/IrcVisitor.jsp), and clicking on the button “Register today“.
Your “My Profile” must be completed with all the mandatory information required by the OSCE before you are able to apply. Once your “My Profile” is complete, search for the vacancy you wish to apply for by going to the “Vacancies” tab. Click the apply now button next to the vacancy you wish to apply to and go through the 3 steps and finally click Finish to submit the application. Please note that you should receive an online notification that the application was successful and can be checked under the section “Vacancies Applied For”.
Can I apply for more than one Vacancy?
Yes, there is no limit to the number of applications you can make, but please ensure that you have read the vacancy notice carefully to ensure you meet the necessary qualifications and experience required.
Which application data is used for each recruitment procedure?
OSCE’s iRecruitment uses the information found under “My Profile” for all applications as of the date the information is extracted. When you update your details, this will then become valid for all open applications.
Why can I not apply for a Vacancy
This could be happen for the following reasons:
The system tells me that the deadline has passed but it is still the deadline date?
The vacancy deadline for applications for a vacancy ends as of midnight CET (Central European Time) on the deadline day.
How do I add a cover letter to an application?
Cover letters are a mandatory requirement when applying and can be added in the text box provided once you have clicked the apply now button for the desired vacancy. This cover letter is only used for that one vacancy.
Can I add references and certificates to an application?
No, you will only be able to add attachments if the vacancy requires additional supporting documents. The attachments upload section will then appear once you the click apply now button. Should the OSCE require other documents, you will be contacted directly asking for them.
I have applied online for a vacancy but never received an e-mail confirmation?
Unfortunately it is not possible at this time to send out confirmations e-mails for each online application that is made in the OSCE’s iRecruitment web-site. You will receive an online notification that the application was successful and can be checked under the tab “Applications to OSCE”.
How can I see the status of my application?
You can see the status of your application(s) by logging in to the OSCE’s iRecruitment web-site, navigate to the tab “Applications to OSCE”. Should the vacancy you are interested in viewing not be there, please click the button “Full List” which is found next to it, to bring up all applications you have made.
