Types of employment
The OSCE offers the following types of employment:
Contracted positions
The OSCE offers either fixed-term or short-term contracts for positions at the Secretariat, institutions and, to a limited extent and mainly in the area of administration, at its field operations.
Internships
The OSCE offers a limited number of places for interns which are filled subject to current needs and facilities of various departments.
Consultants
The OSCE recruits consultants to provide advisory services and expert assistance on a short-term and ad-hoc basis.

Seconded positions
Positions in OSCE field operations are filled mainly by secondment, which means staff are nominated by an OSCE participating State.
If you are interested in seconded positions please ensure you visit the OSCE seconded page where all information, requirements and vacancies can be found. As the recruitment process differs amongst OSCE participating States which is dependent on your nationality, online applications might not be possible.
